Ok so not adding this post because i'm a fan of KRIT's, well not yet anyway, but because he's an artist i'd really like to give a chance. Which granted he might be a load of rubbish for all i know, but from what i'm hearing - he's not - in fact the people who do listen to him, i'm hearing have a lot of good things to say about him. Which granted should be a good enough reason alone, but i'm not like that - the thing i like about Big KRIT, and that's without listening to his music is that he's made it on his own. He's his own man - he's not all about featuring other artists to make his shit sell - he does that already. OK so maybe not for the light hearted, but for some people bored of their Rick Ross's, Lil Wayne's or whoever than you need not look any further than the underground scene. Captain Planet - P**stake by Don Cheadle

So if you don't know me - which is the most likey possibility then well For someone who cracks a lot of jokes i must say that i'm not really someone who has a great sense of humour i don't think. I'm a bit like Will Smith in the movie 'Hitch; but instead of being the matchmaker who can't get a date himself - I'm like the comedian who can't laugh. So you can imagine, i give a lot of people jokes, but they don't give me any. I do however think that this is because i have quite high standards when it comes to comedy, and some of the best comedies like Mr Bean & Father Ted (off the top of my head) are my favourites, so it's quite rare i find something that actually makes me laugh. I mean really laugh! Something that will Change my mind about humour, but there are these occasions, and today was one of them.

It was basically just a little remainiscing session - showing my little nephews some cartoons, and after going through a few different ones like Tazmania & Transylvania petshop i decided to put Captain Planet on. A cartoon i never really quite understood when i was younger, but still i will admit it's one that has continued to intrigue me. A cartoon i thought why not put it on, and it was whilst flicking through these old Captain Planet cartoons i stumbled across this. A spoof by comedian Don Cheadle, and possibly the closest thing there is yet to a live action Captain Planet movie. Hilarious which ever way you look at it. Here it is courtesy of Youtube.com.



It's kind of funny actually, well that above video is hilarious, but what i've also learned today is that there are actual on-going plans to make a Captain Planet movie. No doubt propoganda to help convince us to take better care of our environments? Shame there only just bringing it back now - i was watching some of the cartoons beforehand, and what i think is i've actually learnt a few things. If only our councils, and governments could do the same, but hey who knows what will happen when Captain Green Mullet is once again a household name.

It's pretty much almost the same every time -
I get Ghost's pulling away at my Beds Sheets.
A Nightmare I'd have as a reoccurring theme
until one Night when I realized that these Things -

Were impossible in reality.

It was then during one of these Nights
having one these Dreams
when it suddenly occurred to me,

Something that was mentioned recently due to the rapper putting his plans to film boxing movie 'SouthPaw' on hold. Due to his desire to record new music. So good news all round for Eminem fans, and also Slaughterhouse fans Who the real Slimshady also confirmed Will be performing @ this years Summer Jam (03-06-2012). One Man i never shut up about on this Blog & with good reason is of coarse 50 Cent. I am massive fan, but actually i think if i wasn't than i'd still have quite a lot to say. I mean in my eyes he's got to be one of the most consistent rappers going, and scrapping that one of the greatest business minds in the whole scene. I mean you just have to think about when he was in hospital the other week - how publicized was that from the stuffed toys to the joke he had with Eminem ('Yo Fif, you were shot nine times man if you die over a burger, this sh-- ain't gonna go right. People ain't gonna be feelin' this.'") Funny stuff and if that isn't cool enough the rapper has also hinted at three big collaborations he's planning. Cam'ron, Lil Wayne & Wiz Khalifa. 2012 Billboard Awards Top 200 (20-05-12)

So after reading this (an article on the website www.2dopeboyz.com) i decided that this was something i had to post about - a night when history was made. A ceremony that kicked off with the newly reformed Cee Lo Green & the Goodie Mob, performing as well as new single 'Fight to Win' a touching tribute to the Late MCA of Beastie Boys fame, with the whole of Goodie Mob donning Adidas tracksuits as a mark of respect. So i posted on here yesterday a picture of 50 Cent in hospital surrounded in Teddy Bears. It made you worried didn't it - A mystery stomach bug? - I thought he had menningitus to be honest, but no seems like it was nothing OR our favourite rapper 50 Cent has made an ailing escape from the hospital, with the aid of his Boxer pal Floyd Maywhether Sr. No doubt.

Anyway! he's out & this morning He was on Hot 97 with Peter Rosenberg W/ his Gangsta Grillz Mixtape Collaborator DJ Drama. No mention about his new collection of stuffed toys - well i don't think anyway - i haven't watched it yet, but he spoke about his new mixtape of course, the Phillidelphia Rap scene, former labelmate the Game & Much else also. Seems like Your's & My favourite rapper 50 Cent isn't feeling too great at the moment after being admitted to Hospital with a mystery Stomach Virus. So from chivs86.blogspot.com - I would just like to wish 4 a speedy recovery & that he doesn't worry himself too much about his work as a Multi Millionaire Mogul too much.

He gave this advice today through his twitter Never do a DJ Drama - Gangsta Grillz Mixtape or this is what will happen. R.I.P Blue Peter (1958-2012)

Not very Hip Hop i know & perhaps maybe not something that is very cool (well maybe not to everyone anyway) but in todays news the sad news was announced that one of the longest running childrens TV programmes is set to be axed by the BBC.

First airing on October 16 1958 - Blue Peter was the first show of it's kind to cater for an audience of children between 5 & 8. It was initially scheduled to feature on our screens once a month, but eventually came to be on our screens for a whole 5 days a week.

It's name comes from a maritime signal 'The Blue Peter' which signals that a ship is about to leave. Ironic really ain't it - that 54 years later the ship is finally leaving. An institution normally consisting of four presenters, usually two females & two males & most famed for the magic Blue Peter badges. Badges which apparently can get you in free of charge to any mueseum across the country. Check this video below if you don't believe me>


This is a clip of BBC Three drama Being Human & in this episode Tom (A Were Wolf) falls for Alison (a Blue Peter badge Holder). This episode commences with both Tom & Alison, aswell as Hal (a vampire) & his girlfreind a gothic chick, going on a double date to the national history mueseum (i believe it was) & in it the foursome are allowed free entrance thanks to Alison's Blue Peter badge. Which you can see if you skip to about 6 minutes in.

That's what were losing though it appears - not only free entrance to any mueseum across the country for all new Blue Peter Badge holders, but the end of an era for one of the BBC's most famous shows. A show which i see last i believe Last December when it featured singer Ed Sheeran (incredibly a BP badge holder himself from when he was a kid) as a guest presenter making xmas decorations. Someone who i'm sure will be just as upset as many amongst the country. A tradgedy which i'm sure has hit many very hard, but let's remember the good times everyone & if you're not a BP badge holder yourself - i believe their is a massive bidding war going on as we speak on ebay.com. So if you can buy one make sure you do & help us to remember this great part of British History.

Rihanna Naked!! Yes Really!

Ok So as you might know already, but if you don't this isn't the first post i've done about Rihanna being naked. It's actually the 2nd, but the big difference here is that the last one was just a massive attempt to troll everyone, an idea of a friend of mine to drive traffic to this site. Yes indeed Rihanna naked, something that any man or woman, of any orientation would like to see, and now courtesy of chivs86.blogspot - i can now confirm just that. That according to what a little birdy has told me, we might not have that very much longer to wait, Rihanna could be posing nude for playboy. Yes siree, according to todays papers Porn Mogul Hugh Hefner is offering £1 Million + to get the gorgeous babe that is Rihanna to strip for the cameras. Imagine that i'm drooling already over just the thought Rihanna naked - can't wait i'ma even buy playboy especially. 

Yes siree, it just makes you think don't it - if she's willing to take £1 mil to strip, how much for a bit of action? I mean you can just imagine Richard Branson reading the paper this morning & ordering his secretary about "Get me Rihanna, tell her I'll pay her 50 Million & 10 million more to rub Simon's nose in it".

I mean what is she thinking really £1 Mil to pose nude, how derogatory. & what a bad message to all those poor young girls who look up to her as a role model. Whatever next? Week in week out it seems - I just hope she stops before it's too late.  Well actually i don't (posing for sexy pics that is) cos mean she's fit one, and two who's fitter?  I mean if i had a million pounds i'd pay for the same thing, but perhaps not to put in a magazine, but for perhaps maybe my own private pleasure, and i'd even let her security guard wait about, but heck if i had another million i'd be asking for a little bit of me, and her time, but for the moment - i suppose i'll have to let with hugh to keep her warm for me.

R.I.P MCA. Beastie Boys 4 Life.

Feel a bit bad writing this really, I mean i know just about everyone else is either talking about or paying tribute in some way to the late rapper MCA of Beastie Boys fame, but i'll be the first one to come out and say it, that the Beastie Boys wasn't really a group that i give myself time to get into, and that's despite a good few of my friends being fans, even going as far as lending me some of their stuff. Which fair enough should have been enough for me to realise that this was obviously because they had high opinions of what a quality group the Beastie Boys are, but honestly i never gave myself the time to find this out.

I will say though that although slightly disrespectful MCA's death has been a bit of an eye opener and especially because of Coldplay & their version of fight for you're right to party i have found a new appreciation for the group and have since been doing a lot of catching up.

He-Man says No to Drugs.

I'm a bit too old to be watching cartoons i know, maybe the Simpsons i might get away with, but i will admit that to watch select old cartoons is one of my guilty pleasures.  Especially some of the good old ones from the 80's.  Made before all this computer generated rubbish of today, when they actually tried to teach kids right from wrong. I'm not saying they don't today, but what i do know is that they don't make cartoons like the one anymore in the video below.

It is of course He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, & since watching this video, I can't get the first clip of it out my head.  The first scene, when he says "Don't take Drugs Children". I mean can you imagine if the teenagers of the 1980's sniffing their glue or whatever & then seeing He-Man on the TV giving them a lecture. It makes you wonder how many kids he actually got through to, i mean just comes right out with it, no beating round the bush.  I think it would be quite good for some of todays coke & crack heads, they'd think twice about robbing out of their Nans purse.

A true hero, not only does he whoop Skeletor & Beast Mans ass in the cartoon, but he actually has a message for the youth. A message that could potentially save these children from themselves. Which i must admit is actually quite funny to me, in fact hilarious, but you got to think that to a little boy who absolutely idolises the ground that this Eternian prince walks on, these messages might actually be getting through.

I mean i just wish i'd seen more episodes of He-Man as a kid. I would of never gone raving, or been arrested and i might have even done a bit better at school as well. In fact if i was a teacher at a school, i'd have the class watching Masters of the Universe. None of this scare mongering rubbish bringing the police man in for a chat. I would totally have these kids watching the montages at the end of each episode of He-Man. That would sort these kids of today right out.

Just a shame they don't make cartoons like this anymore!!!

I know people would have to argue this, but i'd have to say Yes Tulisa - the dutty little council estate sket from Camden - or so that is the opinion of some anyway. For a start shes a brit like myself & second well i'd put it down to the picture on the frontpage of Wednesdays Star - all day long.

In fact her whole photo shoot does it for me. I know what people have been saying, like "I wouldn't have voted for her" & "she's not even the hottest girl in her council estate" & I mean compared to girls like Rihanna, Jessica Alba & of course Milas herself, I can see why she might not be everyone's cup of tea, but out of all them although i wouldn't say no if any of them came knocking, I know who i'd pick. All day long. Need i say anymore.

There's only one of these girls for me lol despite what some might think I'm more than happy to say that I've made my bed and if i had the choice I would very much like Tulisa Constavolos to come and lye in it. Rapper Prof. Green outs Girls for 3 in a bed proposal!

In today's news UK rapper Professor Green has sensationally published an e-mail he received from 2 potential 18 year old female suitors offering it on the plate for a three-way.  They go on to say that the two of them will be more than happy to keep it a secret from his fiancé 'Made In Chelsea's Millie Macintosh.  lol it must be those TOWIE girls trying to get one over on their rival show lol & only a week after they got another MIC star Spencer Matthews busted by the media for one expensive habit that no TV star wants to pay over the odds for.  Well I ain't read it anywhere, but who's to deny that corruption doesn't exist?

Back to the story though, it seems like this threesome was one experiment that the Professor wasn't willing to put to the test.  Could Prof. Green be one of the descent members of our society?  He did go on to say though through a post on his twitter "best e-mail ever" lol.  I wonder what Millie's take on it is? I'd imagine she is saying right now "My BF's so sweet & honest".  Really!! What is the matter with today's rappers?  Whatever next?  I suppose he'll be visiting primary schools nationwide telling children not to swear.  Good for him I say, a good loyal boyfriend - you don't find them amongst today's footballers lol.  Well, unless this all a cover up that is, who's to say that corruption doesn't exist?

In related news, Prof. Green collaborator, the sexy Lily Allen has been head hunted to be one of the next X Factor judges.  Seriously, does that Simon Cowell prick ever give up on his little conquests.  The sooner someone gives him a good kick in his mincy little balls the better.

Save our pubs! Can we take action before it's too late.

The Sun newspaper recently reported that according to group CAMRA, up to 12 pubs a week are closing across the country.  Bad news all round, but analysing why I find it quite obvious the reason, it's too expensive.  Both for the drinkers and the landlords.  Fair enough drinking can be quite dangerous for people, and cost the NHS millions, but this ain't the pubs fault in my opinion.  Well it is, but only because there too expensive and people are drinking more cheaper booze from the supermarkets as a result.  It isn't because people don't want to go to the pub, they do, but simply can't afford it any more, so stay at home.  The major reason why these age old institutions are closing, and what do they (The Government) do about it? they keep on putting the prices up, even though it was already too expensive the last time they put them up.  It's never enough for them, year after year taking the risk of bumping up price's by 10/20p - and they wonder why more people are going to Supermarkets.  Not to mention the rising prices of rent and whatever else, is it any wonder that the breweries are selling pubs.  The worst part is their idea to put Supermarket prices up, can you believe that their logic is that this will help the pubs out.  If anything it will mean that people will spend more at Supermarkets and less at pubs.  I mean it would be okay if this extra money was actually going to the pubs, but come on; do you actually believe that, I mean even if they could be more sympathetic to the worst hit pubs in villages and small towns, make them cheaper that would be the best thing they could do, but no - it seems like people like Nick Clegg & David Cameron just don't see this.

The pub to the left is the Red Lion in the village of Weston.  It closed its doors for the final time this year because it wasn't making enough money.  Sad though is, its rich history in the village where villagers & visitors have been drinking here since the 17th Century, maybe even earlier.  I can't imagine why the Government would stand by and let pubs like this close down, but i imagine what isn't far from the truth is that pubs like this one are closing all over the country.  They say use them or lose them, but what do they expect - it's not enough for them that they let foreigners take all our jobs, but they have to make places like this too expensive as well.

And it gets worse, as well as the Red Lion above is the Pelican of Letchworth Garden City.  This pub wasn't as old as the Red Lion before it closed, but it was still a nice little community pub.  A centre of local activity, but now to the horror of close by resident's it's being demolished to make way for a new Tesco Express.  Even though a petition was signed by angry locals & shopkeepers in danger of losing business.  In fact one shopkeeper even offered to buy the pub, for well over the odds of what the building was worth. Just to keep the pub open, but the sad part of this story is the government still allow things like this to happen.

The ironic factor in all of this though is that both pubs were owned by the Greene King brewery of Bury St Edmonds owner of several pubs across the region.  It seems as if that, because these Breweries are suffering from the loss of customers so much, that they are being forced to close the pubs which don't make enough.  Which is sad really because most of these pubs are the nice quiet places where people can go to, to get away.  The ones where people can go to after a nice long walk and the places that can bring tourism to some of the most peaceful places across the country, our small towns and villages.

My conclusion is that something needs to be done and fast.  In France Bars & Restaurant's are VAT free, which it has been suggested could be the answer to the pub problem.  The government should do this, but they could also do more as well; like for instance, put supermarket prices up & pub prices down.  Allow Housing Benefit to some of the worst hit establishments, remove the tax on local brews & maybe perhaps most of all stop putting prices up.  All things that will help tremendously and in my belief, if these are things they actually do, then more people will start using these pubs again & more people going out again will =

• Less money for the NHS because people are drinking less because they're buying less down the supermarkets; 
• more people will get jobs because a.) they won't be depressed being stuck indoors & b.) it will introduce a more social country with more people talking about work. Oh &   c.) More Bar work! 
• The return of community spirit; people who might have stayed in before will go out because it's more affordable.  Friends will be made.  Deals will be done & problems will be solved.
• Crime will be reduced, with less of a desperation for what they can't afford those who would normally miss out won't & because they'll be happy they won't want to break the law. 

It's simple really, the turn around could be pubs opening up instead of closing, the sad part is though that it could be too late before the toffs in Westminster actually realise.

So I just read on hiphopdx that Alabama rapper Yelawolf, is as well as being in the process of recording his 2nd album 'Love Story' as well as a collabo project with Big KRIT 'Country Cousins', he has also opened up to the possibility of a Shady 2.0 project featuring himself, Slaughterhouse and Eminem.  A real possibility he goes on to say, that with Slaughterhouse's 'Welcome to our House' in stores next month (June 12th) that it would just be a matter of the four individual members working around their solo projects.  Exciting, but what about Eminem? is maybe the question.  Would he be free?  Nothing has been confirmed, but it's pretty hard to believe that an artist like himself wouldn't be doing anything at all.  But with D12's future in major doubt, the executively produced new Slaughterhouse LP  finished.  It would seem he could be free, wouldn't it?  I'm hoping this album does see the light, w/ maybe a few features from the Shady 1.0 members perhaps.  I'm expecting a 2013 release, but like all good things I'm thinking they will only come to those who wait.

The Black Cat - An Omen of Bad Luck?

OK.  So another random post here.  It ain't poetry, philosophies or even news, I just thought I'd right about an experience I had the other night.  So a bit of a strange one, I was carrying my 2 year old niece down the stairs after she had made it quite clear to me she wasn't ready to go to sleep in her cot yet, and I see this weird Black Shape through the other side of the door.  I opened it (the door) with my niece in my arms and right there in front of us there was this slightly overweight Black Cat with the most piercing green eyes.  I said to my niece "look at that naughty cat going in your garden" and how right was I.  I thought to myself it's either going to be an omen of good luck or bad luck.  It came in threes...

I got to the train station yesterday, with barely enough for my train fare may I add.  So being the chancer I am -  I got a 5p permit.  Something which actually went alright for me, I got to the train station with 4 pennies other than my fare and I did find through a hole in my pocket another penny; and a citizen kind enough to exchange these pennies for the 5p piece I needed for the metre.  Although I will add I did lose my original 20p I was going to use, thought I had it, but got to the station it was gone.  Enough about that though, carrying on.  I'm not counting that.

1.)So I decided to get off a few stations later to try and pull of my scam, in a little place called Welywn North.  My plan was I'd go to the ticket office and buy a ticket from Finsbury park (London) to my destination.  Getting to the ticket office though I found myself arguing with an aged Asian with terrible bloodshot in his right eye.  I said to him "I need a ticket from Highbury & Islington (The place i'd mistaken for Finsbury Park) to my destination, I'm getting picked up from outside you see that's why I'm not buying a ticket from here".  He answered me "What do you mean? Highbury & Islington is an underground station.  You can't get a ticket from an underground station to an overground station (my destination).  I don't understand you".  I walked off angrily not noticing my own error getting back on the train.  I reached Kings Cross and had to pay full whack.  My whole £40.

2.)This was my first instance of bad luck, my second came about 25 mins later.  I made it through the tube alright, but getting out of there - what a wally! I got to the ticket booth and I only went and lost my ticket  didn't I.  So I tried my ticket to get back, that wouldn't work either.  Why you might ask?  It was a Children's ticket, I picked up the wrong one.  What a wally!  So anyway I'm stuck behind the gates at Waterloo underground with people constantly walking past me, i'm searching my pockets frantically to no avail and i'm thinking to myself 'what am I gonna do?'. 'I'm gonna have to run through after someone I thought'.  I didn't in the end though thank god.  I found my ticket in the middle of a bit of paper I'd earlier scribbled my rap lyrics on.  But this wasn't the end of my bad luck.

3.)I got to Waterloo station, I found my train, well... actually I wasn't quite sure.  So I got on this train to Portsmouth it was leaving in about 15 minutes, and i wasn't sure if this was the right train.  I walked off the train checking my phone and slip, bye bye phone.  I looked down and there it was under the train.  My only means of contact with my greeting party who would of picked me up, gone (they all thought I'd been arrested for trying to dodge my train fair, can you believe that?).  So what do I do now I thought?  I got on the train it was the right one, but my problem now was I'd reach my destination lost with no money.  I wasn't in the end (lost) and as for money - I did what any smart crack-head would - I opened one of the Bday cards in my bag I was supposed to deliver to my cousin for his Birthday.  Just enough to get the bus.

Conclusion - The end of my bad luck it seemed - I got to my brothers alright, my destination.  I told him my story, I said to him 'bad luck comes in threes'.  He said to me "well Man Utd better not lose".  Not my bad luck, but it was his, my cousins and uncles (the latter two had lost £20 on bets), three people.  So it would seem bad luck does in fact come in three's and Black Cats are an omen for misfortune.  All a coincidence? I think not.
