Brand New ChivV'z feat. Mr T & JLC - The Worlds Craziest Fool

After a week of posting tracks by other people it only seemed right that I leak something of my own.  I was going to save this one till my mix cd was done, but I thought that I might as well just get it out there.  This one's called 'the worlds craziest fool' and heavily samples Mr T, aswell as corn ball TV presenter Justin Lee Collins.  I would describe this track as a Jack ass mentality kind of piece about crashing cars, breaking windows and just missing the jump and stacking it hard.  Enjoy and if you do like this track or have any positive feedback, your comments are very welcome.

Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg @ Coachella 2012 (2nd Weekend)

1 week later after one of the biggest Hip Hop shows in many, many years, Dr Dre & partner in rhyme Snoop Dogg were back at again.  This time for Coachella's 2nd weekend set.  Nothing new though apparently it featured the same guest artists and the same set as last week.  So a bit of a disappointment to many insatiable fans who had hoped this would be the unveiling of new information on the mythical Detox.  None the less though than last week it was another incredible turnout for many hoping to see the mysterious 2pac hologram
and as I said at the start of the article one of the biggest Hip Hop shows in many, many years.

The downside though maybe of the concert to the millions of fans who didn't go yesterday was that there wasn't a youtube stream.  So no footage at current, we'll at least not yet, but I will I keep trying & when I do find some - I'll post it, but not to worry anyway - Here's last weeks performance courtesy of  @youtube.com

Women, Weed & Weather = The Recipe.

It's nearly been three weeks now since the release of Kendrick Lamar's new single, 'The Recipe' featuring the legend Dr Dre and along with much hype over what's still to come, plus the thought of how cool it's gonna be this Summer, relaxing in the sunshine with our eyes closed, our sunglasses on listening to our MP3 players to those magic words "Women, Weed & Weather" is an exciting thought.  I can say personally actually that for the past week almost I have dozed off to this track playing at the end of my night and I've thought about this a whole lot "Women, Weed & Weather".

Now on this topic Complex magazine has just released it's own little spin on this '50 Fine Pictures of Women Smoking' so check that out below.

Suge Knight thinks 2Pac is still alive.

So only days after posting my poem on here, Let Him Be. (2pac R.I.P), seems like I'm gonna have to post it again.  Why? because not even a week after - the hologram stunt@ Coachella, 2pac is back in the news.  Well he hasn't been out of the news since to be fair, other than the main talk of hologram technology in most of the newspapers, news stations and radio interviews, he has also been all over the news on Hip Hop sites.  The other day it was the Westcoasts own C-Bo, a rapper who actually went to prison because of one of his albums content, he said in no lesser words that both Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg are vultures despite the late 2pacs mother Afeni Shakur hailing her sons Hologram as thrilling.

However she maybe wouldn't hail claims by her dead sons manager, the former CEO of Death Row records Marion 'Suge' Knight.  He said today, adding fuel to the fire of many conspiracy theorists, that nobody actually saw 2pac dead and he could in fact still be alive somewhere.  What doesn't make sense to me though is how he also says he took a bullet in the head.  Meaning that someone was obviously trying to kill the rapper and his supposed criminal boss.  I would love to know if any of this is true, I mean I thought we'd seen the last of Warren Fox in Hollyoaks, a man who was burnt to death in a fire and was seen carried out in a bodybag, but he came back in a shock twist of events.  I mean wow, if 2pac is still alive, I wouldn't mind hearing how he survived such an ordeal.  But the poor man I've said this before let him be whether he is dead or somehow alive, I wrote about Rihanna the other day and what she has to put up with and I bet if I was too ask her now if she could understand why someone like 2pac would fake their death she would say yes, I wish I could do the same thing.

I personally couldn't care less if he's alive, quite happy listening to the masses of music he's made already and then of course other rappers like Kendrick, Crooked, Em, Celph titled & R.A.  If 2pac didn't die he'd of probablly sold out anyways - him and BIG died when Hip Hop was still cool.  One of the reason I think their maybe better off dead.  They could of maybe retired, yeah.  It wouldn't stop people hounding them though.  They say dead men don't speak.  I think that's definately one reason if pac is still alive to fake his death and I know there's rumours about him coming back in 2014, but I seriously think that people should just respect his memory and leave him the F alone.

Here's my link by the way if you haven't read it.

Social Networking, A modern day Tower of Babel.

In the Bible there are many cool stories to read, stuff even the stubornest of Aetheists will enjoy.  I'm not an aetheist myself, but I wouldn't call myself a devout christian either.  Anyway out the bible, one of my favourite stories is the Tower of Babel.  If you've never heard of it, it's a story set in a time when our world was one complete land mass with no communication barriers whatsoever.  The result?
A tower leading up to the heavens built by people from all across the globe, but god didn't like this though and in the process of knocking the tower down he seperated the world in to todays 7 continents.
The result? Hundreds of different languages and millions of people that can barely communicate.

That was then though and this is now.  How many friends do you have on facebook that you otherwise wouldn't? And how many of these people do not live in the same country as you?  And It's not just facebook. No, it's the whole internet.  A worldwide increase in communication.  In fact technologies even exist online that will decipher foreign languages.  So almost - if not now soon - we shall be able to talk to anyone in the world.  Something I believe is only the beginning of a more united front.  Imagine - the greatest scientists in the world all working together.  Imagine what they could create?  Interstellar travel - the most powerfulest weapons this world has ever seen - rampaging dinosaurs - I think they could.  A parallel to the old bible story or a prediction of the future?

Check out my related poems.

The UK's own Lowkey announces retirement from music.

One of the most successful true hip hop mcs from my side of the pond in recent years, London rapper Lowkey today officially announced his retirement from music through his facebook page.  Stating his desire to concentrate on his studies as his main reason, and being fed up with the politics of the music industry.  He did however state that in the future he may consider a come back.

It's been a minute since Lowkeys 'Key to the Game' series and since joining 'Poisonous Poets' in 2005 and most recently dropping the album 'Soundtrack to the Struggle', the rapper has been a busy man since his emmergence in the early noughties.  He will be missed of course, but it's pretty safe to say that for the impecible lyricist that this break has been well earnt.

If you haven't got 'Soundtrack to the Struggle' yet download it here @itunes.com

And as a bonus here are a couple of Lowkey's hottest joints in recent years.

Here's his 'Fire in the Booth' 1xtra freestyle' from 2010.
